The ?Secret? to a Life of Mindful Abundance WILLINGNESS to allow change to take place. Frequently I talk with people who say that they want to be prosperous and live a life of Mindful Abundance, yet are unwilling to make any changes in what they are thinking. It doesn?t happen that way. You must look at your belief system. By that I mean, what do you think/believe abundance is? Too often we think of abundance or prosperity as no bills and having a pocketful of money. But true abundance is so much more. Don?t limit yourself. When you are willing to change what you believe it is, you are well on your way to reaching abundant living..
ONLY look for the good in your life. Find the good where you are now. Are you involved in a ?pity party?? Here?s how that goes? Woe is me, I have no money, I have a lousy job, no one appreciates me, I live in a low rent area and nothing is happening for me. Turn it around! Take the time to look for the good. Isn?t it a good thing that you have a job? Isn?t a good thing that you have a home? Of course it is! Focus on those things. I know that you want a change. What does it look like? Most people cannot see the forest for the trees! Start being specific. What will your home look like when you are financially independent? What will it look like when things are happening for you? When you begin to see only the good in your life and circumstances you will be on your way to reaching living a Life of Mindful Abundance. RELAX, be quiet and allow the process to take place. Patience is required. I know because on the list of the things that I want to change in my life patience is way up there! Yet when I relax, become quiet and allow the process to flow through me, it always does. Sometimes so quickly that I am astounded. Too often I try to ?help? the process along. My prayer becomes,? Lord help me, RIGHT NOW.? I try to accomplish everything on my time schedule. I try to ?force? my good, I struggle with it and as a result I get in the way of my own good which merely delays bringing it into my life. A man was once praying and he asked God, ?What is a million dollars to you?? and God answered, ?Tis but a penny.? And the man asked God, ?What is a million years to you?? and God answered, ?Tis but a second.? And the man coyly asked, ?God, give me a penny? And a loving smiling God answered, ?In a second.? This little story points out that you need to allow the process to flow through you. Get out of the way, be patient and relax. All good things are on the way. KNOW that what you desire is already in place waiting for you to collect it. The challenge here is to keep your thinking on unlimited supply. Many people think that their source comes from an employer or by having a good job. We?ve all heard the statement, ? ?get a good job and you will get ahead.? That has never been true and it?s not true today. This thinking occurs when we try to identify who we are by what we do. Recognize that abundance and prosperity comes to you from many directions, not necessarily the direction you choose. I recently had the opportunity to see this very thing happen in my experience. I was focused on a joint venture project and knew that this was going to be profitable (?and it is?), however, during the building stages the revenue was a little slow. I didn?t let the concept of lack enter into my thinking or get in the way and as a result revenue came from three different directions to fill the all my needs and then some. Hold onto the thought that what you desire is already in place waiting for you to collect it. Have you found the ?secret?? The real secret is found in the first word in each of the first four paragraphs. It is a word that does not appear in any of those paragraphs, yet it is the key to living a Life of Mindful Abundance. Can you see it? No? Narrow it down to the first letter in those words and look again. Now you have it! It takes WORK! Too many people think that they can get something for nothing. Using the Internet as a means of communication it is easy to slip into that thinking. Ad after ad proclaims ?FREE? this and ?FREE? that. I regularly see things that say, ??I?ll do the work for you.? Or allude to riches beyond your wildest dreams and you don?t have to do anything. NOT! I read an article that said there is enough cash money in the world for every man, woman and child on the planet to have 1.5 Million Dollars if there was a way to distribute it evenly. Even if that were done today, within five years today?s ?poor? people would once again be poor unless they change their thinking. Today?s wealthy would again posses great fortunes because they are willing and eager to work. They know and now so do you, that work is more than a function. It is an attitude that will lead you to financial independence. Right now be: *Willing to change, *Only look for the good, *Relax, be patient and *Know your desires are being met.
