PORTLAND, Ore. -- Do you love cooking? The Oregon Food Bank needs volunteers for its Cooking Matters program.
Oregon Food Bank especially needs bilingual volunteers and volunteers who live in Washington County and east Multnomah County.
Oregon Food Bank seeks volunteer chefs, nutritionists and accomplished home cooks to share hands-on cooking, food safety, food budgeting and nutrition information with people who are at risk of hunger. Volunteers must be willing to commit three hours a week for seven weeks. Oregon Food Bank provides curriculum materials and training.
To volunteer, email Liz Long, call her at 971-223-3372 or sign up online.
