That?s something you?ll have to obtain on your own once you leave the company. The issue of medical insurance coverage is especially relevant if you live in the United States, but most companies regardless of where they are located offer their employees various benefits that might be easy to overlook. In other words, don?t just think in terms of what you?re paid. Think about the benefits, too. You might have to pay for similar things out-of-pocket, and so you need to be earning enough money to do that.
I?d also recommend that you have a strict schedule that you will follow during the first 6 months of being self-employed. This can sound ridiculous, but it really helps to ensure you?re not going to slack off and end up having to go back to a traditional job. Once these things are in place, you can seriously consider quitting your job to pursue your online eBook business full-time.
