Julia Roberts is an Academy Award-winning actress, a box-office champ, a Broadway star and now the executive producer of Jesus Henry Christ, which debuted Saturday at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. But her kids want her to whip up another successful career.

"They think that I'm a good cook," Roberts, 43, told PEOPLE at the premiere. "They actually told me that I should open a restaurant."

Henry, 3, and twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 6, say their favorite dish is "everything made with love," Roberts said.

For now, though, Roberts is focused on her film, which she worked on with her older sister Lisa Gillan, who co-produced, and her husband, cinematographer Danny Moder, who shot it.

"It was so great to be working on the same movie with him. He's so good at what he does. He's so clear and focused," Roberts said of Moder, whom she met while working on 2001's The Mexican. "It's actually hard to get his attention on the set because he's really like, 'No, I'm working.' But at lunch I will be like, 'Hi, remember me, your wife?' "

As for working with her sister, Roberts, who walked the red carpet with Lisa, says filming went smoothly thanks to their strong bond. In fact, it's rare that they will have a fight.

"We are always happy. We maybe will have an argument once a year just to get it out of our system so we don't make people sick," Roberts said with her signature boisterous laugh. "We've shared a room for 12 years and we lived in the same apartment building. We liked living together. So we know everything about each other. We're very close."

Working with loved ones certainly makes the film-making experience richer but Roberts also enjoyed her role as a producer, rather than the leading lady.

"The best part for me being a producer was creating an environment that makes actors comfortable," the Eat, Pray, Love star said. "It's about not bugging them and trusting them. The actors took the parts that we already loved and turned them into these glorious machinations of quirky, amazing characters, so we were thrilled."
